Our Mission

The Bridge School Cooperative Elementary is a multi-age, responsive learning community that nurtures the whole child through authentic, hands-on experiences. We partner with families to allow each child to grow at their own pace and potential and to ground education in awareness of ancestral and current contexts.

Transforming learning through experience, expression, connection and justice.

Our Vision

Our Values

Experiential Education

We believe in multi-sensory education delivered through projects, exploration, and hands-on experiences that bring ideas to life.

Multi-Age Environments

We build mentorship, patience, and collaboration by participating in learning across ages with flexible groups based on readiness, not age.

Connection to Nature

We weave outdoor experiences into daily learning, fostering the benefits of slowing down to observe nature, allowing a deep bond with and stewardship of the natural world.

Community

We cultivate strong connections among students, families, and teachers, proactively seeking collaborative moments and opportunities to contribute to the larger community.

Voice and Agency

We encourage brave expression and active listening as essential to our learning community.

Compassion

We honor diverse needs and strengths, listening with empathy, vocalizing appreciation and assuming good intentions.

Accessibility

We are committed to keeping tuition as low as possible and offering financial aid to allow a broad set of families access to our community.
